I'm A Celebrity bosses to put ban on reality TV stars like Vicky Pattison to stop 'unfair advantage'?



The show's bosses are reportedly putting a ban on popular reality stars from joining the celebrity line-up.

With the new season of the popular ITV show set to kick off in November, bosses are now looking for more “credible” stars to enter the jungle.
This comes after former Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison, 28, was crowned last year's winner. She was closely followed by TOWIE star Ferne McCann and former Union J star George Shelley.

It has been claimed that I'm A Celeb bosses are looking at popular shows like Strictly Come Dancing that shuns popular reality stars.
It comes as former jungle stars have bemoaned reality stars having what they claimed to be – an unfair advantage.
Fans already know the ins and outs of a reality star's life, and they usually already have a big social media followings that are ready to vote for them.
This year I’m A Celeb . . . wants to go back to its roots by signing up more cult favourites from the past and current, newsworthy personnel,” a show insider told The Sun.
“The last series got a ribbing for having so many reality show stars and giving them lots of camera time.”
They also added: “Despite them providing most entertainment, bosses are keen to lure more credible campmates.”
In the past, I'm A Celeb stars have included the likes of Mark Wright, Joey Essex andGemma Collins – who all came from Essex as well as Made In Chelsea stars Spencer Matthews and Hugo Taylor.
