Manchester City outcast Yaya Toure ORDERS agent Dimitri Seluk to end his war with Pep Guardiola

Yaya Toure has told his agent to make peace with Pep Guardiola.
In a sensational twist in the long-running war of words between Dimitri Seluk andManchester City boss Guardiola, the Ivorian midfielder has ordered his long-time confidante to seek a truce.

And Seluk has revealed he wants to forge a “new relationship” with manager Guardiola in the hope that Toure’s banishment from City’s squad will come to an end.
“I have spoken to Yaya in the last few days and he has asked me to make the peace with Pep,” said Seluk.
“I agreed with him that I had to do what I could to make the situation better, because Yaya and Manchester City have been caught in the crossfire.
“I am genuine in what I say.
"Some City fans have contacted Yaya to say that a way forward must be found. And some of Yaya’s team-mates at City have also contacted me to say the same thing.”
Seluk stopped short of issuing the apology that Guardiola demanded when his decision to leave Toure out of his Champions League squad in September prompted a volley of criticism from the Barcelona-based agent.
But it still represents a significant climbdown by the man who has represented the £250,000-a-week star since he was an unknown playing in the Ukraine over a decade ago.
Of course, I hope Pep takes the decision to bring Yaya back into his squad. But even if he doesn’t, I can assure him that I am not going to speak about him any more in the media.

I have contacted the Mirror to send this message to Pep because he hasn’t returned my calls. But I also wanted to say these words in public because I felt it was important that it was me who make the first step towards peace, respect and friendship.
“I really do hope this can be a new start and that Yaya can help Manchester City to win more trophies.”
Toure has not played for City since the dead-rubber home victory over Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League qualifiers in August.
Without him, Guardiola has taken the Blues to the top of the Premier League — and on Tuesday night he orchestrated a 3-1 defeat of his, and Toure's, former club Barcelona.
Last week, he indicated he would have selected the 33-year-old for the EFL Cup defeat at Manchester United if an apology from Seluk had been forthcoming.
And Toure will now be hoping his agent’s plea for peace will be accepted.
