Kim Kardashian 'gets professional help' as she tries to recover from armed robbery

Kim K gets professional help

Kim Kardashian is reportedly seeking professional help as she continues to recover in the aftermath of her horrific armed robbery.

The reality star - who was tied up and held at gunpoint by thieves in Paris this month - has also been turning to family and close friends to get her through the terrifying ordeal.
"Kim is doing better but she still has a long way to recovery from the robbery," an insider has told E! News. "She has been receiving some professional counseling.

Her friends and family have been really supportive. Her sisters and mom have been checking on her every day."
While her hubby Kanye West is doing his best to call her whenever he can as he continues his Pablo World Tour, Kim is said to be "paranoid" when no one else is around.
The source added: "Kim is very paranoid still when she is alone. She has been having flashbacks and hasn't been sleeping well. Her security is always around her now."

Meanwhile Kim, who turns 36 on October 21, had been scheduled to mark her birthday a week later at a Las Vegas nightclub but has now cancelled.
It was thought that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had signed a deal reportedly worth $1million where she would make four appearances across the year at the celebrity hotspot.
The mother-of-two has already been partying at the spot in April and July and reportedly has two more to go on her deal, however due to the extenuating circumstances after she was the victim of a terrifying gunpoint robbery at her apartment in Paris this month, it's likely she will reschedule.
"Given recent circumstances, Kim Kardashian will be unable to make her previously scheduled appearance at Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub," a representative for Hakkasan told E! News.

She is reportedly struggling to cope with flashbacks of her horrifying robbery ordeal - and sparked concerns as she made a subtle return to social media.
Kim's follow count decreased as she appeared to delete a number of people from her account.

In a shock video, apparently taken inside her Paris apartment, the star, 35, appears to be sat at the end of a sofa with a blanket wrapped round her, as she chats to someone on a video call.
Last week, Khloe broke her silence over the robbery when she appeared on The Ellen Show.
Admitting her sibling is “not doing that well," she told the host the family are all offering her vital support.
“I mean, it’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her,” she told the host. “But our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together, and we do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support and it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her.”
