She was accused of being "Becky with the good hair" in Beyonce 's cheating track Sorry.
But Rita Ora has hit out at her accusers, saying the rumours
she had an affair with Beyonce's husband Jay Z are downright "rude and disrespectful".
When Beyonce released her album Lemonade in April, her devoted fan base launched a witch hunt to determine the identity of the woman behind the lyric: "You better call Becky with the good hair".
Rita's name was thrown into the mix after she donned a bra with two lemons on it on Snapchat and also appeared to be wearing a letter ‘J’ necklace, shortly after the album dropped.
The Beyhive was buzzing even more when Rita was spotted wearing a "Not Becky" pin at a Met Ball after-party.
But Rita has finally fired back and blasted those who thought she could ever do such a thing to her "idol" Beyonce.
"First and foremost, Jay Z is my inspiration and one of my idols - lyrically, musically, business-wise. I still look up to him and his wife every day. Beyoncé was one of my biggest idols growing up," she told Vanity Fair.
"That (pin) was a present from Katy Perry. Maybe I was the only one seen wearing it, but there were others. As for the rest of it, I'm oblivious, I'm just not the gossip queen.
"I find it incredibly rude and disrespectful to women in general (when) we get accused of something that's basically against the important part - the music."
Beyonce's fans previously accused designer Rachel Roy of being "Becky"
