PlayStation Network CRASHES as FIFA 17 demo launches - leaving frustrated gamers unable to play

Frustrated gamers are unable to get their hands on the new FIFA 17 demo because the PlayStation network can't handle the demand.

Sony acknowledged that "some users are having trouble accessing the PSN store," just as the new footy game dropped in the UK.

The company has updated its Network Service Status page to confirm the problems, and has said it is working to fix the issue as quickly as possible.

Although the full FIFA 17 game isn't available until September 29, the demo gives players the chance to play a few select teams.
