How good is the new Victoria Beckham for Estée Lauder make-up range? We put products to the test

Victoria Beckham and Lynne Hyland
It’s hard to believe it’s taken her so long but Victoria Beckham - the queen of the smouldering kajal, nude lip and fierce cheekbone contour - has finally launched her first ever make-up range. VB has hooked up with Estée Lauder
to create a sexy capsule cosmetics collection, and it’s hitting beauty halls TODAY.
A fluffy-bathrobed Posh provided a cheeky sneak peek earlier this month when shedemoed the range in her bathroom. Check it out, it’s a masterpiece of Youtube vlogging; one minute she’s on the blower sorting her social diary, the next she’s disappearing off in a puff of smoky eye to meet her fabulous pals/husband/design team. OK, she doesn’t actually specify but I’m assuming she’s not off to do the school run.
Needless to say VB looks absolutely immaculate/ageless in her video closeup. It might be 20 years since Wannabe but I can only assume she’s been travelling between London and LA via some loophole in the space/time/wrinkle continuum.
At least she’s not one to keep all her beauty brilliance to herself. This week, I’m lucky enough to be part of the Victoria Beckham global outreach programme for less genetically blessed 40-somethings, and personally selected to try some of her new make-up.
(You might call it "phoning up the Estée Lauder press office and begging for samples" but I know charity when I see it.)
