Kim Kardashian's famous bodyguard Pascal Duvier 's ex wife accused him of beating her up in front of their children so badly that she passed out.
And Glenda Duvier even got a temporary restraining order against him.
Miss Duvier claimed that the alleged assault happened in front of their daughters Beline, eight, Alisha, 10 and Duvier's step daughter Anna Heller, 15, and left her with a swollen cheek.
However, Duvier, who is 6ft 4inches and 240lbs, wrote a five page response in which he claimed his ex started "pushing and scratching him" when he attempted to leave, before he "swiped her hand" away.
He wrote: "I did not want a physical confrontation and went around her to try different paths out of the house."
He added: "I swiped her hand from me as I was looking away."
He pleaded with a judge to dismiss the restraining order, claiming his ex had made "false allegations against me in an effort to gain control over our children as well as our assets".
He claimed the TRO "constitutes a gross misuse of the justice system".
Pascal also reportedly claimed it would mean potential clients would not hire him if they saw it on his record.
Kim is still recovering from the robbery at her apartment in Paris where she was tied up and gagged as thieves stole $11m worth of jewelry after holding a gun to her head.
The haul reportedly included the $4.5 million wedding ring given to her by her husband Kanye West.
Court documents from the Los Angeles Superior Court reveal that Miss Duvier, 38, applied for a TRO, or temporary restraining order against Duvier.
She wrote that the latest instance of alleged abuse happened on September 19 2013 when her three children and two friends were home.
The court document states: "He hit me in the face. I fell to the floor and passed out. The kids saw and one of my friends."
Under injuries she wrote: "Left cheek is swollen, headache persists".
The police were called to the alleged incident.
The documents show that Miss Duvier demanded that he stay 100 yards away from the two family dogs, Tango and Charlie - and requested that she be given possession of the BMW car they owned.
Duvier filed a five page response in which he claimed that Miss Duvier was telling lies and that their marriage had collapsed because she had cheated on him.
He also claimed that her 'excessive drinking and depression' had led them to break up.
Duvier wrote that he moved to America from Germany so that they could make a 'fresh start' but it did not work out.
He wrote: "Through her false allegations (she) hopes to destroy the two things that are important to me - my relationship with my children and my career."
Duvier said that if potential clients were able to see the TRO on his record it would make them less likely to hire him and harm his reputation.
He complained that Miss Duvier is "using our children to get back at me" and since the order was put into effect he was not able to talk to them via Facetime when he was away for work.
On the alleged incident itself, he claimed that Miss Duvier had been drinking when he got home from a job overseas, and he discovered she had allegedly been sending 'messages of love' to another man.
He said that he was leaving her and at that point Miss Duvier is claimed to have tried to grab an envelope of spare cash he kept in the desk.
Duvier got it first he claims, and his wife allegedly began to scratch and push him to try and get it.
Duvier then tried to leave the house but Miss Duvier got in his way, the documents state.
According to the court filing, Duvier said: "When I got to the back door, she pulled at my shirt and scratched me. In doing so got scratches on my neck and hands.
"I swiped her away from me as I was looking away and her hand was on my neck. I opened the back door.
"I then heard my daughter crying as I was about to walk out. When I looked back, I saw (her) on the floor. I believe (she) feigned being passed out. I carried her to the bed. Within seconds she was back up on her feet trying to stop me from leaving"
Duvier claimed that "I was not the aggressor" and that he "instinctively brushed away an assault on my body".
The restraining order appears to have been lifted and under a custody agreement the children were to live with Miss Duvier.
Duvier also claimed in his response: "After obtaining the restraining order, Petitioner contacted me and arranged for me to see the children on September 23, 2013.
"Petitioned was clearly not in fear of me being near her or the children."
The divorce was finalised in October 2013, which appears to be around the time that Duvier started working for Kim.
Like Duvier, Miss Duvier was born and raised in Heidelberg, Germany and the couple relocated to Los Angeles in 2011.
She appears to currently be working as a customer relation specialist in California and her online profile says she has 10 years experience in the role.
On her Twitter account she writes: "You're not able to write your beginning or your ending, but you're able to write a beautiful story in between."
