A series of images of some the most beautiful women in Britain in the 1960s shows them stripped naked with their modesty barely intact.
The collection's title Birds of Britain gives a hint to the period it was put together - during a time when women were judged more on their looks than their brains.
Among the familiar faces are Julie Christie, Charlotte Rampling, Marianne Faithful and Patti Boyd.
Taken in the spring of 1966 the project was to photograph the most beautiful women in the country.
It featured models, society girls, singers, actresses and debutantes and was a celebration of Swinging London’s movers and shakers.
A US tour for photographer John d Green and a selection of the ‘birds’ followed, with an appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show and even a single and the book went onto develop a cult following.
